  • The catamaran is equipped with specialized equipment for interdisciplinary environmental research and nature of the Baltic Sea. In addition to the laboratories inside the ship there are also observatories and seminar room for students. Thanks to the extensive range of accessories, “Oceanograf” is one of the most modern research vessels operating in the Baltic Sea.
Due to the various range of research carried out using the ship (research seabed bathymetric research, chemical research, geological research), “Oceanographer” combines the functions of various vessels units. The ship uses double-hull design that reduces roll angle which is especially important when conducting research at sea as every unintended movement of the ship can disrupt accuracy of measurements.
