On 06.07 and 20.07 the ship R/V Oceanograf visited the Port of Hel as an attraction for participants of the “Summer with Seal” campaign, organized by the University of Gdańsk. Our ship was both part of the field game and an attraction to explore! For the willing lucky ones, it was possible to win a ticket to the “Oceanograf”, on board our qualified crew was at the visitors’ service all the time. We started the tour of the ship by showing the working decks and equipment of the ship, then we discussed its construction and the research equipment on it along with its capabilities. in the on-board laboratories section. I have to admit that a positive surprise was so much interest in the possibility of visiting our ship and the number of questions that the visitors asked us! We hope that together with our crew we have met the challenges related to such an unusual event for us and that we have satisfied the curiosity of all who visited the “Oceanograf”.
